Northern Corridor Improvements Project

JLE have been privileged to be part of the great Northern Corridor Improvement Programme. The project is to incorporate a bypass network for the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the event of a failing of the crossing. Our part of this project is the illumination of a section of State Highway One Underpass to link with SH18. The Lighting System installation incorporated the use of 152 LED 385w Tube Point Gen2 Lights and 14 LED 148w Emergency Lights , C/W UPS battery powered system, in the event of failure of the main lighting system. In addition to the lighting system, a MCU controlled lighting system was installed to control lighting levels 24 hours a day, for an increased safety and efficient transport system. The finished product is a ‘state of the art’ lighting system that will continue to operate for many years into the future.
