Flux SRD1 Rig

Through its partnership with Easternwell Energy, Flux OS Sdn Bhd (Flux), a Brunei based oil and gas servicing company engaged JLE to deliver the extensive electrical work for Flux’s new SRD 1 Rig a heavy mobile onshore workover and well servicing rig. JLE’s scope included the electrical and instrumentation design, automation, fabrication, construction, installation, testing and commissioning to API 500 and IEC standards. JLE was also responsible for the on-time procurement and inter-continent logistics required to supply each of the various work faces in Canada, Texas, Colorado and finally Brunei Darussalam. A JLE team travelled to these locations to install all electrical works before the full package was shipped to Brunei Darussalam for commissioning. The project was completed with zero LTIs and MTIs.
