JLE have performed very well on the Port Taranaki fire protection upgrade project. They faced similar challenges that all electrical contractors do, which is that they can’t really get stuck into their work until the civil and mechanical disciplines have substantially completed their work. JLE looked to complete work early wherever this was possible to minimize the impact later in the project, and when the inevitable timeline crunch came at the end of the project, JLE were very proactive at sourcing additional manpower resources from wherever they could find them to ensure that the project deadline was met. In addition to providing additional resources when the timeline crunch came, JLE were very good at identifying issues early and providing suggested solutions to address the issues.
